When do I need to Service my Nissan?

It's not only the distance you travel that determines when you need to have your Nissan serviced. In fact, cars that are used for regular short trips around town are at risk of premature engine wear as they rarely reach their optimum operating temperature. This can generate a build-up of by-products in the oil that reduce its ability to lubricate and cool the engine effectively. Plus, other fluids in your car, such as brake and transmission fluids, deteriorate over time. So to protect your car, make sure you follow the recommended service intervals, be it 6 months or 10,000kms*, whichever comes first.

We’ve also introduced Nissan Capped Price Service for all Nissan vehicles first registered from 1 January 2018 onwards. That means that we’ve capped the maximum price you’ll pay for the first six services according to your vehicle’s service schedule.

 

If you own a Nissan vehicle that was registered prior to 1 January 2018, you’ll still be able to enjoy all the benefits of our Nissan Genuine Service pricing.

Each time a Nissan vehicle is presented for a service an extensive inspection and report of your vehicle is completed identifying any parts that have deteriorated.

Outlined in your Nissan Owner booklet, we will replace the necessary parts with Genuine Nissan replacement parts & lubricants to ensure safe and reliable driving.

Clean

After every service your vehicle will receive a complimentary external wash and a vacuum of the foot well area.

^ If Nissan Genuine Parts are purchased and fitted at the time of purchase and by an AuthorisedNissan Dealer, they are covered by Nissan's 1 year or 20,000km warranty or the balance of the New Vehicle Warranty (whichever is greater). Nissan Genuine Parts purchased over the counter are covered by Nissan's 1 year or 20,000km warranty (whichever comes first).
